Match report Another sunny day greeted both teams to the Green in what turned out to be a cracking game of cricket. ASP batted first and lost Strange and Devonshire early to poor shots. Williams batted well for his 26, but after his dismissal ASP lost a couple of quick wickets and it wasn't until Baxter and Robinson come together that ASP pushed the score along. Baxter made a fine 50 and Robinson a quickfire 29 as ASP closed on 169-8. In reply Flamstead started strongly but were pegged back by some dogged bowling. Baxter in particular caused havoc in the Flamstead ranks with 3 quick wickets, but Brown(94*) survived 4 dropped catches to lead his team to a narrow victory.
