Match report Asps put in a truly awful,shocking and damn sight embarassing performance,the worst in my time as captain against barley on sunday..An average bowling effort was backed up by the worst of worst fielding efforts as barley eased past 200 in their 40 overs.Deposed skipper vfm earned himself a pat on the back taking 3-41.After a mouthwatering tea (thanks to mr and mrs 007) Asps were shot out for 51.baxters 12 and extras were the highlights.Allthough wardy and reece frustrated the barley attack with a time consuming last wicket stand.There were ducks for strange,pankhurst and albon.everyone else more or less threw the wickets away,potter after smashing a huge 6 hit a rank longhop straight to jonesy,who held it in the armpit.that just about somed up his luck....afterthat a beer match was played in which too mixed teams played for some fun....
