Match report One of ASP worst performances of the season nearly ended in a bad defeat as we hung on to win by 1 run. All the top 7 for ASP got a start but no one went on to a big score with Groom top scoring with 33. ASP were bowled out for 170 without using all their overs up as Boyce and Abbotson took 2 wickets each. In reply ASP picked up the key wicket of K.Ayres early on but Gilbert, Boyce, D.Ayres and Shoebridge all chipped in with useful runs as Stansted inched closer to victory. The last over started with Stansted 9 down and needing 7 to win, but skipper Jonathan Moon bowled a cracking last over and Stansted come up 1 short. Thompson and Potter both picked up 3 wickets.
