Match report A disappointing defeat for ASP as we couldn't quite defend 156 on a tough pitch at Munden. Batting first runs were hard to come by as Nix and Page bowled well and Thompson and Groom both edged to the keeper. This bought Strange and King together and they upped the scoring rate before king was caught for 31, then followed a flurry of wickets as first Patmore was LBW then Booth was bowled 2 balls later and Sapsford next ball to leave ASP reeling. Strange and Albon batted sensibly to push the score along with Strange perishing in the final over for 74. In reply Little Munden struggled against some mean bowling from Sapsford and Pinnuck and were up against the runrate but some poor bowling from Strange let Munden back into the game and with Matt Budd hitting a magnificent unbeaten 76 they won with 9 balls to spare. With Dunmow losing and South Loughton winning the top three are seperated by 24 points going into the last 4 games of the season
