Match report ASPs got back to winning ways on Saturday after a good win over Cloghams at the Green. On what was a flat belter of a wicket, ASPs won the toss and decided to bat. Strange (53) and Thompson (42) put on 101 for the first wicket in 23 overs, both batsman punishing the bad balls. Soon after reaching his 50 Strange was caught in the deep going for a maximum. Thompson was bowled soon after to leave Asps 120-2 after 28 overs. The in form Potter started to up the rate hitting 4 sixes on the trot,and he carried on that way all the way to the end. In the next 14 overs Potter and Groom were smashing the bowling to all areas of the ground as they put on 171. Potter hit 9 sixes as he fell just short of a ton and Groom made 75, ASPs reached 304.

After tea Cloghams started the chase well by going at 5 an over for the first 15 before Strange won the game for ASPs, taking 4 wickets in his 10 overs. He was well supported by Sapsford 3-58 and Albon 2-31 as Cloghams closed on 225-9.
