Match report On yet another damp day at Aspenden, we welcomed the boys from Cloghams to the green. Upon winning the toss Captain Calamity decided to have a bowl. Zorbo was a little wayward with the new ball but Sappo produced a peach to get rid of Dunmow early doors. Debutant Matt Leaver then bowled beautifully to take 4 wickets, but we couldn't get rid of our nemesis Rob Crouchman who blasted his way to a ton, and with a rain delay, Cloghams finished on 208 off 42 overs. ASP faced a difficult chase with only 10 men as Bumphries had the tom tits and didn't turn up, and Bear soon perished to a wonder catch in the gully, Sappo swashbuckled his way into the 20's before the second blinding catch of the innings accounted for him. Potter came and went, and we were struggling on 58-3 when more rain appeared, and forced an early retreat to the Fox. No real highlights apart from the Eggmans 4 wickets!!
