Match report A poor batting diplay from ASPCC gave way to an inspired bowling and fielding performance as Ashdon capitulated to 107 all out. ASPCC started slowly as runs were hard to come by on a soft wicket. Strange(27) and Groom(22) were the leading scorers but ASP were helped by 32 extras as they posted 139. Ashdon started slowlly in the face of some tight bowling from Sapsford and Pinnuck, but when Thompson and Strange were introduced into the attack wickets started to fall at regular intervals and from 59-2 Ashdon collapsed to 107 all out to send ASPCC back to the top of the Herts and Essex Observer Div 4(only on alphabetical order admittedly!)
