Match report On a glorious Sunday afternoon Gordon Devonshire's Presidents XI took on ASP. ASP surprisingly batted first and soon lost Williams for 2 but John Yates and Matt King put on 60 before King was bowled by former ASP player Tony Kirby-Cook for 21. Yates moved serenely onto 62 before being undone by the low bounce falling LBW. Simon Groom and Jonathan Moon both made twenties which enabled ASP to reach 204-9 in their 40 overs.In reply the Presidents men lost a couple of early wickets before Mat Booth(62) and Grant Wisson(57) put on 108 to put them in with a shout of winning but some fine bowling at the end from Moon and King meant that they finished 17 runs short.
