Match report A superb win for a depleted ASP against third placed Elsenham was cemented by an unbroken stand of 164 between Michael Strange(71*) and Simon Groom(84*). Missing two key bowlers ASP fielded first and were rewarded with a wicket from Simon Lindsay in his first over. ASP kept it tight and no Elsenham player made over 24, as Strange(3-22) and Albon(2-29) spun a web of flight and guile as Elsenham crept up to 176 with skipper Jonathan Moon finishing the innings off with 2 wickets in 2 balls. In reply ASP lost Grant Wisson early before Strange and Groom put the pressure on the Elsenham fielders with some strong hitting and then took control and bought the game to a hasty conclusion with 9 overs to spare.
