On a slow wet wicket, the two innings from Bear and Potter proved crucial. Never have two 50s been so vital in setting a competitive target on this low scoring ground. Then an excellent bowling and fielding display saw Walkern crumble in the pursuit of victory, falling from 79-2 to 94 all out after Strange (2-19) and a career best from Albon (6-15) got to work.
