Match report Somehow Asps lost a game of cricket that they simply just threw away.A poor,dismal,effortless,shambolic display in the field and an untidy bowling performance gifted R.Reporters a great win.After winning the toss Baxter made a patient but ellegant 24, his highest, and would of had more if he showed a little more patience with the slow bowling.Big Gordon's steady 31 got Asps off to a good start but a typical mid inninngs collapse Wallce 6,Devonshire 0 saw Asps reach 70-4.Potter took a while to get going but he hit 10 sixes in a knock off 116 not out,including 28 off one over.Support by Surrey 12,Albon 11 helped Asps amass 243-7 off 4o overs.
After a great tea Asps started off in the worst possible way with some wayward bowling being complemented with awful fielding to give Reporters an early advantage.Dropped catches and silly overthrows gifted the away side many runs.Potter and Albon came on and took 5 wickets between them but at a cost of over 100 runs as Reporters sniffed a win.Ward picked up the other wicket but with only 2 overs left Reporters crossed the winning line.Aps would be celebrating a sunday win if the simple things had of been done correctly,an estimated 40-50 runs gifted to the away side in a dire fielding effort.
