Match report A rousing win for ASP as they went top of the league with 3 games to go. Dunmow won the toss and decided to bat on a scorching hot day. Sapsford removed Takle with the second ball of the day and had Lees dropped next ball, Dunmow rode their luck before Thompson dismissed Gypps and Sapsford got Lees with the score on 42. Iliffe was next to go before a partnership of 45 between Malloy and Bush pushed Dunmow to 121-5. A flurry of wickets meant that Dunmow were bowled out for 145 in the 34th over with John Albon cleaning up with 3-16. In reply ASP started steadily and reached 37 without loss by tea. After tea they cranked the scoring rate up with Strange(58*) taking 16 off a Bush over and Thompson(34) taking 13 off a Gypps over. Thompson fell with the score on 91 and with Simon Groom hitting a unbeaten 27 ASP cruised to victory in the 35th over.
