Match report ASP lost a close game to Sheering on a poor wicket on Sunday. ASP were surprisingly asked to bat but the reason why soon become clear as Booth and Strange both fended good length balls off their heads. Both batsmen were soon dismissed leaving Simon Groom and Matt King to repair the innings, however top edged the ball into his nose and had to retire hurt on 22. Captain Potter hit a rapid 31 but ASP were left high and dry on 125 all out. ASP had to start fielding 2 short as Strange had taken Groom to hospital, and it wasn't until Potter entered the fray that wickets begam to tumble as he took 5-11, but ASP couldn't take the last couple of wickets and ended up losing by 3 wickets.
